The DragonFly CT62 Dripper 02 is a 390ml new bone china conical dripper designed for 1 to 4 cup pour over brewing, built around a 62° cone angle and a 24-groove recessed channel system that keeps drawdown pace steady from first pour to last. Available in Black or White, with an optional Transit Base that converts it to a variable-flow hybrid brewer.
The CT62 Dripper 02's 62° cone geometry sits between the steep angles that push water through fast and the shallow angles that slow it to a crawl. That middle position gives the dripper a wide working range: a centered pour and a wider circular spiral both produce balanced results, so the brewer accommodates different pouring habits without demanding that you hold to a single technique. For brewers who are still refining their pour or who brew different coffees with different approaches, that tolerance is practical rather than cosmetic.
Inside the CT62 Dripper 02, 24 recessed channels guide water downward along the wall. Where most conical drippers use raised ribs to create air gaps, the CT62 cuts the channels into the wall itself, which keeps the filter seated more evenly. A secondary horizontal groove ring near the base regulates flow through the lower part of the cone as the coffee bed settles and compacts during the brew. The result is a drawdown that holds a consistent pace from start to finish, reducing the stalling and channeling that produce bitterness, astringency, and sourness in the cup.
The CT62 Dripper 02 is made from new bone china (新骨瓷) with a matte glaze finish. The material is heat resistant to 120°C (248°F) and safe for dishwashers, microwave ovens, and dish dryers, so cleanup and reheating require no special handling. At 250g net, the dripper is light enough to carry without adding bulk to a travel setup, while the ceramic mass retains enough heat to keep the brew environment stable during a longer pour.
The "CT" in CT62 refers to the dripper's exterior texture, drawn from Shanwen armor (Shanwen Jia), a Tang Dynasty Chinese design tradition that builds a flat geometric pattern directly into a three-dimensional form. On the CT62 Dripper 02, curved surfaces and repeating facets cover the full body, giving the surface depth and a shifting perspective as the angle of view changes. The integrated stand follows the same Shanwen Jia geometry, with one corner extended to serve as the handle, so the dripper and its base read as a single object rather than two parts assembled together. The dripper was designed by Jeff Shi.

The CT62 Dripper 02 suits home brewers and café bar staff who regularly brew for one to four people and want a conical dripper that holds a consistent drawdown pace across different pour styles. The wide filter compatibility (V60 02, Sibarist Cone M, HIFLUX Folding V 02, ORIGAMI Cup4) makes it easy to work with filters already in rotation, and the Transit Base option adds variable-flow capability for brewers who want to experiment with flow rate control.
The CT62 Dripper 02 is not suited to batch brewing beyond four servings; its 390ml capacity is a fixed constraint of this model. Paper filters, the Transit Base, and the Conical Dripper Holder and Silicone Ring are not included and are sold separately.
The DragonFly CT62 Dripper 02 (390ml) is compatible with V60 size 02 filters, Sibarist Cone M filters, HIFLUX Folding V 02 filters, and ORIGAMI Cup4 paper filters. Filters are not included with the dripper and are sold separately.
The DragonFly Conical Dripper Transit Base is a separate accessory that seats into the raised ring on the CT62 Dripper 02's base and converts it to a hybrid brewer with variable flow rate. It is available as an add-on option at checkout but is not included in the standard dripper purchase.
The CT62 Dripper 02's 62° cone angle is designed to give a wide, stable extraction range. The geometry responds well to both a centered pour and a wider circular spiral pour, so the dripper does not require a single fixed technique to produce a balanced result.
Yes. The CT62 Dripper 02 is made from new bone china with a matte glaze finish and is safe for dishwashers, microwave ovens, and dish dryers. The material is heat resistant to 120°C (248°F).
The DragonFly CT62 Dripper 02 has a 390ml capacity and is sized for 1 to 4 servings. It is the larger of the CT62 line, with a taller body than the original CT62, which was sized for 1 to 2 servings.
