rattleware-58mm-magnetic-aluminum-dosing-ring
Rattleware 58mm Magnetic Aluminum Dosing Ring

The Rattleware 58mm Magnetic Aluminum Dosing Ring is a portafilter accessory designed for 58mm group heads, helping baristas dose ground coffee accurately and with minimal mess. A built-in magnetic attachment holds the ring firmly against the portafilter basket during dosing, so it stays put without manual pressure. The ring is machined from aluminum, keeping it lightweight while standing up to the repetition of a busy coffee station.

Dose Cleanly, Every Time

Dosing rings exist to solve one specific problem: grounds scattering across the portafilter rim and onto the counter during distribution. The Rattleware ring's 58mm fit leaves no gap between ring and basket, so grounds stay where they belong. Less cleanup between shots means faster workflow, whether you are dialing in at home or pulling back-to-back shots during a service rush.

Magnetic Hold, No Fumbling

The magnetic attachment is what separates this ring from a simple collar. It seats against the portafilter and stays there without being held, freeing both hands for distribution or WDT work. When dosing is done, the ring lifts away cleanly rather than requiring a twist or pry.

Aluminum Construction

Aluminum keeps the ring light enough that it does not add noticeable heft to the portafilter during use, while remaining rigid enough to hold its shape through daily handling. The material also resists the minor moisture exposure common at an espresso station.

Features

58mm fit: sized for standard 58mm portafilter baskets for a snug, gap-free seat

Magnetic attachment: holds the ring in place hands-free during dosing and distribution

Aluminum construction: lightweight and durable for daily use

Mess reduction: keeps grounds inside the basket and off the portafilter rim

Specifications

Specification

Value

Portafilter compatibility

58mm

Material

Aluminum

Attachment type

Magnetic

Packaged dimensions

4 x 4 x 2 in

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Rattleware 58mm Magnetic Dosing Ring suits home baristas and cafe staff who use a 58mm portafilter and want to reduce grounds scatter during dosing and distribution.
