Two sizes are available: one for the Flair 58 family and one for Classic, NEO, and PRO models.

Cleaner Shots, Less Mess

Placing a paper filter at the base of the portafilter basket before adding grounds helps direct water evenly through the coffee bed rather than finding the path of least resistance. The result is a more uniform extraction and noticeably higher clarity in the cup, the kind of difference that matters when you are dialing in a new coffee or comparing grind settings.

Fewer Sprays from Bottomless Portafilters

Bottomless portafilters are useful for diagnosing extraction, but channeling can send hot espresso spraying outward. A paper filter seated at the basket floor reduces that channeling, which means less cleanup and more consistent pressure distribution across the puck from the first drop to the last.

All Basket Pores Working Together

Without a paper filter, fine grounds can lodge in the basket's perforations and block flow. The paper layer keeps grounds above the basket floor, freeing every pore to contribute to the extraction rather than acting as a partial obstruction. Over a session of multiple shots, that consistency adds up.

Features

Pack of 100: single-use paper filters, one size per pack

Reduces channeling: promotes even water distribution through the coffee bed

Reduces spray: limits espresso spray from bottomless portafilters

Frees basket pores: keeps grounds off the basket floor so all perforations remain open

Two size options: Flair 58 size and Classic/NEO/PRO size, selected at checkout

Specifications

Specification

Flair 58

Classic, NEO & PRO

Compatible models

Flair 58 family (58mm portafilters)

Flair Classic, NEO, PRO, PRO 2, PRO 3

Quantity per pack

100

100

Placement

Bottom of portafilter basket, before grounds

Bottom of portafilter basket, before grounds

Who This Is For and Isn't

These filters suit any Flair espresso maker owner, whether using the Flair 58 family or a Classic, NEO, or PRO model, who wants cleaner-tasting shots, more even extractions, and less spray when pulling through a bottomless portafilter.

These filters are not compatible with non-Flair portafilters and are not reusable.
