Three preset temperatures (85°C, 90°C, and 95°C) correspond to brew targets for dark, medium, and light roasted coffees respectively, so dialing in preheat no longer requires guesswork or a separate device sitting on the counter.

Simplified Wiring, Tidier Counter

The kit includes a downsized power supply and a wire guide designed to route the cable cleanly along the base. Compared to the earlier 58+ wiring arrangement, the result is significantly less cable clutter and a setup that looks closer to a single integrated machine than a modular assembly.

Features

Integrated preheat controller: three selectable temperatures (85°C / 90°C / 95°C) built into the base

Downsized power supply: smaller footprint than the original 58+ supply, with U.S. plug included

Wire guide included: routes cabling neatly along the base for cleaner wire management

Quick-disconnect compatible: designed for the quick-disconnect brew head on qualifying Flair 58-series machines

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Kit weight

4 lb

Preheat temperature settings

85°C, 90°C, 95°C

Power supply plug

U.S. plug

What is included

Flair 58 Plus 2 Base with Integrated Preheat Controller, Wire Guide, Flair 58 Plus 2 Power Supply (U.S. plug)

Compatibility

Flair 58+ and Flair 58 / 58x with quick-disconnect brew head, purchased after July 2023

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits owners of a Flair 58+ or a Flair 58 / 58x purchased after July 2023 who want the cleaner integrated base and preheat controller introduced on the 58 Plus 2 without replacing the entire machine.
